Robert J. Olson

Rob Olson has served as Sola’s President and CEO since October 2023.  Rob retired after a twenty-six year career in global corporate and investment banking with MUFG Union Bank and spent several years studying and working in Japan where he financed large infrastructure projects throughout Asia. His heart for young people led him to found and lead an annual summer camp for youth in Southern California as well as having served as Dean of Students and teacher of theology, apologetics, and personal finance at a local Christian high school.  Rob has also served as a professor of Corporate Finance at Biola University.

Rob earned an M.A.R. degree from Reformed Theological Seminary, an M.B.A from the University of Southern California, a B.S. in Business Administration from Biola University, and a Certificate in Japanese Studies from Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan.  Rob ministers in his local PCA church as an elder and teacher. He and his wife are parents of three adult children and reside in Orange County, CA.
