From our beginnings with the White Horse Inn radio program and Modern Reformation magazine, Sola has expanded, reaching millions through print, online content, video, audio, and conferences. Even as we’ve grown, our mission has remained the same: to foster reformation in hearts, homes, and churches by delivering biblically faithful content in a world of noise and confusion.
We envision Sola as a “Village Green,” a shared space to gather for meaningful conversation. As our founder, Dr. Michael Horton, aptly describes, “We don’t want to live in the Village Green at the end of the day. We can all return to our houses of worship, but our goal is to encourage conversational theology in the Village Green, where we can rub shoulders with Christians of different traditions and expressions.”
As the Village Green, Sola unites the four confessional traditions of the Reformation—Reformed, Lutheran, Anglican, and Baptist—to proclaim and defend the gospel. Today, we stand at a key moment. Looking ahead, we want to expand our efforts in Protestant-Catholic apologetics, strengthen our strategic partnerships, and enhance our digital outreach to engage younger generations—all while remaining anchored to our core convictions and mission.
