In the second century, Irenaeus wrote in Against Heresies “gloria enim dei vivens homo” that “life in man is the glory of God.” Theo Global’s 2025 symposiums worldwide will focus on Theological Anthropology. Our 2025 symposiums will be titled “The Crown of Creation: Humanity, the Image of God, and the Fall.” In 2025 we will investigate and discuss the church’s understanding from biblically-based perspectives.
Theo Global fosters unprecedented theological conversations among leading scholars throughout the majority world through collaborations, symposiums, and publications focused on theological topics essential for the growing global church.
Through our annual symposiums, we gather brothers and sisters who teach in seminaries and Bible colleges all around the world. Our current annual events now engage and cross-pollinate scholarship from South Asia, East Africa, Southeast Asia and the Middle East/North Africa regions.

CALL FOR PAPER PROPOSALS:
Theo Global invites you to present a proposal (or encourage a colleague to) for a paper and presentation related to the conference theme. The conference will include 8 paper presentations that will be selected from the proposals. Topics should include biblical and/or theological approaches to the topic as it relates to doctrine, culture/context engagement, the global church, and biblical interpretation. It should also explore practical applications of this theological topic and doctrine in the church’s worship and in people’s lives.
Papers in 2025 should interact with a topic related to humanity bearing the image of God or related to the Fall of mankind in Adam.
Paper proposals should be 2-4 paragraphs in length. Proposals and questions may be submitted to Adam Smith at info@theoglobal.org by Oct 15, 2024. Proposal submissions will be notified shortly thereafter. Approved paper presenters will receive 40 minutes to give their presentation at the symposium, which will be followed by a discussion and Q&A session. Presenters will receive a modest honorarium.
